“Opposing Points of View”

An experiment in fluid acrylics resulted in this painting portraying two opposing points of view separated by a flowing river of consciousness. In the end, they’re the same thing, even if at first they appear separate. Here’s an excerpt from a poem of mine that I’ve been thinking a lot about lately.
“You cry out to me so that you’ll get your way
but another cries out half a world away
and you cancel each other as far’s I can Tell
for one person's heaven’s another one’s hell
